Fight against hordes of robot enemies and gigantic bosses. Plus, you can use Astro's special rocket boosters to hover in the air, avoid enemies, and zip out of the way of danger!
Film Fanatic!
The game is based on the exciting CG animated film of the same name, out now.
Both the game and the film were inspired by a famous comic book series by Osamu Tezuka. Astro Boy first appeared in Japan in 1952, and is popular all over the world.
Robot Rampage!
The first level is where you learn how to control Astro Boy and practice your moves. Once the tutorials are out of the way, you set off on the adventure proper, switching between platform brawling antics to flying shoot ’em ups!
Flying Shooter!
You'll believe a boy can fly! Soar through the air over Metro City, shooting lasers at incoming enemies and avoiding attacks. It gets pretty frantic, and the sky is filled with explosions!
Platform Brawler!
Use fighting combos to dispatch enemies! Some of them can be pretty tough, so you'll have to use a super attack to repel them. But it's not all about fighting - you also have to make your way through a series of floating platforms, bottomless puts and bounce off walls!
Butt Blaster!
Astro Boy has a huge range of weapons and abilities, including Finger Lasers, Arm Cannon, Twin Machine Guns and Drill Attacks. He even fires bullets from his backside!
Play Solo Or Co-op!
Play the game by yourself or with a friend in a special co-op mode! They can pick up the extra Wii Remote and join in the fun at any time. This comes in pretty handy with the end of level bosses, as they're super-tough to beat!
Movie Mania!
Parts of the story are told with scenes cut straight from the film. If you haven't seen Astro Boy in the cinema already, you're in for a real treat!
Secret Unlockable!
The game has tons of unlockable secrets, including exclusive artwork, different costumes for Astro Boy, and much more. Can you find all of ’em?
