There are eight different power-ups to choose from! Check ’em out: Shunt: Shoot this powerful blast forwards or backwards to send rival cars flying! Bolt: Shoots three rounds of laser fire forwards and backwards to let you blast through the pack! Barge: Activate this deadly force wave when you’re surrounded to blast nearby opponents out of the way! Mine:Lay this dangerous explosive trap on a bend for maximum effect! Shock: Send three electro-magnetic strikes ahead of the race leader to shock him on impact! Repair: If your car’s taken a beating, use this to fix up the bumps and scrapes! Shield: Protect yourself! Use this to guard against incoming power-ups and avoid damage. Nitro: If you’re behind the pack or want to streak out in front, hit this to get a super speed boost! Mega Mods! Beat the one-on-one boss races to pick up their custom mods and make your car faster and tougher to beat!
There are fifty cars in the game, and you'll be slamming them around fiendish courses set in real world cities like Los Angeles, London and Barcelona. Each car comes in four variations, so if you prefer a nice sliding drift to throttle power there'll be a car to match your playing style. Most of all, Blur has been designed to be fun, regardless of whether you like your racing tough and realistic or crazy and arcadey. Something for everyone? Oh yes.
Blur is about more than just realistic racing though. This is a game with insane weapons and gadgets to give you the advantage, so you'll be able to collect up to three power-ups at a time and unleash them to clear your path to victory. Send blasts of pure energy down the track, boost your speed to brain-boggling levels or just hide safely behind a forcefield, there's no way you'll get bored!
