First Look!!
The first De Blob game was only available for the Wii, but this time around PS3 and 360 players will get to enjoy the wobbly blobby fun as well. There'll even be an exclusive DS game, which takes De Blob to a mad scientist's secret underground jungle lair!
For the first time, you'll be able to upgrade Blob's abilities as you play, presumably making him longer, stronger and probably more absorbent as well. Just like toilet paper.
Top Trivia!
De Blob started life as a student games design project, created by some crazy kids in Holland. You can still download their original PC game right here - it's completely free!
In this wickedly funny sequel, the evil Comrade Black has once again drained the colour from Prisma City, and it's up to that globular, bobular Blob to splat things back to normal!
Just like in the last game, you repaint the world by slurping up different colours and bouncing on the things you want to paint. The more you colour in, the more of the world you can explore. There'll be races and challenges, and even some co-op multiplayer modes.
De Blob 2 is due for release in February 2011. We think it looks jelly good!
