First Look!!
In the video above you'll see Mickey stumble into the home of the wizard Yen Sid. The wizard has just created a drawing of a whole new world, but Mickey accidentally spills magical ink on it, and creates the evil Phantom Blot in the process. Disaster! Now it's up to Mickey to enter Yen Sid's world to put things right.
Part platform game, part role-playing adventure, you'll use the Wii remote and nunchuk to use Mickey's art powers to solve puzzles and beat enemies. You can paint objects into the world, such as bridges, or use your paint thinner to erase Blotlings and other bad guys. Paint and thinner will run out if you use too much, so it's up to you to decide how much to use and when. There are lots of different ways to approach problems, so you can find your own way of getting through the game.

Mickey Mouse has a reputation for being a bit too squeaky clean, the cheesy cheery good guy of cartoons. That's about to change, as Disney Epic Mickey takes him back to his roots as a mischevious and sometimes downright naughty little rascal!
As well as reinventing the character of Mickey Mouse, Disney Epic Mickey is a journey through the history of Disney animation. To travel between areas of the game, Mickey must pass through 2D platform sections based on classic cartoons. Here's a scene taken from the level based on Steamboat Willie, the first ever Mickey Mouse cartoon made in 1928. That means Mickey Mouse is over eighty years old! Hmm. He's quite athletic for such an old geezer!
As you play through Epic Mickey, your actions will change the way the inhabitants of Yen Sid's world react to Mickey. Do the right thing and he'll be hailed as a Hero. Get too cheeky and he'll be seen as a Scrapper, which might make friendly characters less likely to help him. However, being a Scrapper might make certain boss battles easier - or skippable! The choice is yours!
