Review!
It looks complicated, but don't panic! Play through the simple tutorials and they'll show you how to rip up the decks in no time. You can also alter the difficulty, from Beginner, where you just have to match the rhythm, to Expert, where you need to use every trick in the book to keep up with breakneck beats from the biggest names in dance and rap!
The turntable looks confusing, but it's dead simple really. There are only three buttons on the deck itself, and three buttons on the control panel. It's what you do with them that will make you stand out as a superstar DJ! If you found Guitar Hero too tough, give this a go - the beats are easier to match, and the game gives you loads more chances to make up your own sections, rather than just copying what's on screen.
Whatever your taste in music, you'll find something you like in DJ Hero 2. From hip hop stars like Kanye West and Eminem, to classic soul legends like Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson, there's even room for a little Lady Gaga and even Metallica! Go on, throw it all in the mix!
Behind the music
Wuh-wuh-wiki-wiki-welcome back to DJ Hero! The dancier, hip-hoppier cousin to Guitar Hero is back in a new and improved sequel, with hours of bangin' choons for you to remix and cut up in the search for the perfect dancefloor beat!
Multiplayer mixing!
If you've still got a turntable from the first DJ Hero, hang on to it! DJ Hero 2 has loads of cool multiplayer modes, where you can battle against your mates in freestyle competitions. If you have a microphone from Guitar Hero or Rock Band, you can even use that as well - players who rap or sing along now get their own score and challenges!
With 83 massive mixes and unlockable versions of famous DJ legends, this is a must have for fans of rap music and dance, but anyone with a taste for music games should give it a spin!
