Review!!
The game is a lot like the LEGO games. Once you've completed a level with two characters in story mode, you can play it again in Free Play, and switch between any superhero you want. They all have their own powers, which are useful for getting past certain objects. Hulk's strength lets him smash through walls, for example, while Iron Man can hack computers and control robots.
Don't expect quite as much variety or polish as the LEGO games, though. Super Hero Squad is a short and really easy game and it doesn't have the same replay value. It is fun though, especially if you love Marvel Comics and play with a friend.
There are loads of characters in the game, but if you want more you can download Captain America, Bucky and the Red Skull as a bonus pack. Check 'em out below!
The first Super Hero Squad game was only on the Wii, DS and PS2. For the sequel, 360 and PS3 owners get to play as well. The story follows the classic comic book tale of the search for the world-conquering Infinity Gems, but with a seriously silly twist. With bad guys like Doctor Doom, Thanos and Loki teaming up to snatch them, you'd better be ready for some serious superhero action!
Don't play this game if you like to take super heroes seriously. This is a really silly game, with loads of daft jokes. Hulk spends most of the game talking about cake, and Hercules ends up with a wedgie. In one level you have to fly into space in a campervan and shoot ice cream cones into Galactus' mouth!
