With Super Street Fighter IV still knocking our socks off, we almost exploded with excitement when we heard that Capcom was bringing back its other top fighting series - get ready for Marvel vs Capcom, round three!
Yep, it's exactly what it sounds like. Characters from Capcom games like Street Fighter, Resident Evil and Megaman battling against Marvel's superheroes (and villains) in a butt-kicking fighting game. It's been ten years since these rival teams last met, but the first two games in the series are still being played in professional gaming tournaments. With so much at stake, you can bet that this third entry will be the best of all!
Comic Carnage
The game uses a "living comic" style to bring the characters to life, taking 2D graphics and giving them a 3D feel. There are loads of other cool visual tricks as well. When Wolverine slashes with his claws, he'll carve strips out of the screen, as if he's actually fighting inside a comic book!

Who's in the house?
Er, well, we don't know yet! Capcom are being very secretive about the final line up of characters. We do know that Iron Man, Spidey, Hulk and Wolverine are in for Marvel. They're joined by Ryu from Street Fighter, Chris Redfield from Resident Evil 5 and Morrigan from Darkstalkers. The last game boasted a whopping FIFTY SIX characters though, so we expect to see some more names announced soon! We're hoping for The Thing from Fantastic Four for some real clobberin' time fun!
The only problem with all this exciting news? We've got to wait until Spring 2011 for the game to actually come out! Aaaaaargh!
