Pang: Magical Michael

Review!!

Silly old Magical Michael. He's not as good at magic as he thinks, and his dim-witted wand waggling has unleashed an army of beefy bouncing balloons that threaten to boing the planet into submission! It's up to you to travel around the globe, defending famous landmarks from these sinister spheres!
If the 40 levels in the Quest Mode aren't enough to keep you busy, you should probably try Panic Mode. This has 99 levels to really test you popping skills! Still not enough? Then give the WiFi multiplayer a go!
You'll need to grab power-ups to give you more ways of bursting those pesky balloons, as later levels force you to think up clever ways of getting your attacks past obstacles.

Top of the Pops!

Pang is a balloon-bursting puzzle classic from 1989. Now it's been updated for the DS, but is it as magical as the title suggests? Read on and find out!
You use your magic to create jets of fire that pop the balloons, but when you pop them, they just change into smaller balloons! You need to keep popping until they're so small they finally vanish. It sounds simple, but with lots of them bouncing around, you'll need a cool head and fast fingers to survive!
Pang: Magical Michael certainly won't win any beauty contests. The graphics are small and undetailed and we know the DS can do better graphics than this. It's a good thing the gameplay is still a lot of fun, even if it does get very repetitive. It might have worked better as a cheap DSware download, but if you're looking for a simple but addictive arcade game to play on the bus, Pang is definitely worth a look.
