For the first time ever, Pokemon Black and White brings you a completely new Pokedex full of never-seen-before Pokemon to catch and train! As you play through the story, every Pokemon you find will be brand new!
At the start of the game, Professor Juniper lets you choose from three new starter Pokemon. Tepig is a fire breathing pig Pokemon, while Oshawatt is a water type with a detachable sword on his belly! The grass snake Pokemon Snivy is the most popular with Japanese players though!
There's even more reason to pick up both versions of the game this time. As well as unique Legendary Pokemon, each game has its own exclusive areas. The Black City only appears in Pokemon Black, while if you want to explore the White Forest, you'll need to pick up Pokemon White. Shame it's not the other way around. Then we could have some Black Forest Gateau. Yum!
We can't wait for the new Pokemon games, Black Version and White Version. They've been out in Japan since last year, and they have loads of cool new features that have never been seen in a Pokemon game before. Read on to find out what's new!
Reshiram
Reshiram is the vast legendary Pokemon exclusive to the Black Version of the game. It's a fire dragon type, and the blast from its tail is ultra destructive!Zekrom
You'll need the White Version of the game if you want to track down Zekrom, an electric dragon Pokemon. We think he's the coolest looking Pokemon yet!
The Pokemon game world now has real seasons that change as you play. Different Pokemon will be easier - or harder - to catch depending on the weather!
Pokemon Black and White were both released in Japan last September, and they broke some massive records. Over two and a half million copies were sold in the first week, making them the fastest selling DS games ever!
