It's the first ever Pokémon adventure for the Wii, as Pikachu saves the PokéPark from disaster...with a little help from his friends!
If you follow the Story Mode you take the role of a young wannabe who catches the eye of an old karate master after a bust up in the street with some ninjas. The master trains you, using your remote and nunchuk to throw punches and kicks, until you're ready to enter tournaments and start earning those precious belts.
What's the story?
The PokéPark was once protected by the Sky Prism, but now it's been shattered (ooh, clumsy) and it's up to Pikachu to put things right. Luckily, you're in direct control of the little critter and can explore the park, finding Pokémon pals to talk to and mini-game challenges to play.
Among the challenges you'll be expected to beat are Rhyperior’s Bumper Burn, in which you have to try to push opponent Pokémon off the stage, and Bulbasaur’s Daring Dash, a Pokémon footrace! There's also the high-flying action of Salamence’s Air Ace and Venusaur’s Vine Swing. Finally, if you fancy a dip, why not try Gyarados’ Aqua Dash?
