His old rival Mario might have been getting all the attention recently, but Sonic is going to be grabbing some headlines of his own later this year! Check out his colourful comeback!
Those wisps aren't just there to look sweet - they come in eight different colours, and each one will give Sonic a unique advantage. White wisps give him a speed boost. Orange wisps send him shooting into the sky like a firework. Yellow wisps let him tunnel underground, while Blue wisps transform Sonic into a living laser, able to bounce off shiny surfaces. Cool? You betcha!

For this new adventure, Sonic has travelled to a mysterious planet populated by cute floaty creatures called Wisps. Unfortunately, that evil Eggman, aka Dr Robotnik, has also turned up and - oh what a surprise - he's up to his old tricks. Guess it's up to Sonic to speed around and save the day again!
Of course, there will be plenty of traditional Sonic thrills, with amazing loops and tracks to race down as well as platforming areas to explore. The game will swap between 2D and 3D, to make sure you always get the best view of the blistering action!
Sonic Colours will be out on Nintendo Wii and DS later this year. We've already dyed our hair blue in anticipation. Seriously.
