Rev 'em up!
Bored of racing games? Sick of going round in circles? Split/Second Velocity might be the game you're looking for. This blistering racer takes the manic action of Burnout and then mixes in the power of EXPLOSION to kick things up a notch!
The idea behind the game is that you're taking part in a brutal televised race. People don't tune in to see drivers competing in a fair contest of skill. No, they tune in to see drivers smash, crush and blow each other up! Oh, and win the races. Obviously.
Knock 'em down!
Cool racing moves fill up your power bar as you race, and a prod of a button as rival racers pass trackside hazards lets you detonate the scenery to try and ruin their chances! The more power you build up, the more devastating the damage you unleash. You can even change the course of the entire race by blowing up bridges, collapsing walls and dropping buildings on the track!
Split/Second roars into shops on May 20th, but you can get a taster by downloading the demo. It lets you screech around the Airport course, creating mayhem along the way. The demo is available on Xbox 360 right now, and hits PlayStation 3 on May 5th. Give it a spin!
