Every Sim has their own wishes and dreams, and it's up to you to make them come true. Or you can just be a big meanie and make everything go wrong! Making your Sims happy earns you Karma Points that can used to make their life easier - or to create bizarre situations like an earthquake or a haunting!
The game looks really nice, and is full of funny little moments. We laughed our socks off when one of our Sims went to the loo and then got in a right old strop when it wouldn't flush! There's also loads to do. You can go fishing, grow vegetables or become a best-selling author!

You can tell your Sims what to do, but they'll also get on with stuff if you leave them alone. Each one has their own personality, and their behaviour will reflect what sort of person they are. We created a lady who was a bit insane, and she started rummaging in the bins in the middle of the night. Once, she did it for so long that she wet her pants!
With so much to do, The Sims 3 can seem like there's a lot to learn. The game isn't always very good at making things obvious so you'll need a little patience and be willing to put in a few hours of practice if you want to get the most out of it. Once you've got the hang of things, it's really addictive and tons of fun. Give it a try if you fancy something a bit silly and different!
