The UnderGarden

Review!!

You control a chubby floating alien baby-thing that can fly around inside the Undergarden. Bounce off green sack-things to collect pollen, then swoop around and make the plants spring into life! It's easy, and lots of fun!
Each level contains secret flowers and gems to find, as well as funny little musician characters. If you pick these tiny fellas up they'll change the music as you play, and all the flowers and plants sway and dance and change when you pass.
If you get lonely, get a mate to grab a joypad and join in. You can work together to solve the puzzles, or earn an Achievement by dropping exploding fruits on each other!
The Undergarden is out now on Xbox Live Arcade and PC, and will arrive on PlayStation 3 early in 2011.

Woah, man, what's going on? It's, like, totally weird and spaced out in here! That's because we're in the Undergarden, which has nothing to do with boxer shorts and everything to do with growing weird luminous plants in a magical underground cave. Don't worry, it'll all make sense soon!
It's not just about bumbling around making pretty colours though. There are puzzles to solve, as you grow different trees and use their fruit to get past obstacles. Heavy fruit can be used to weigh down pressure pads, balloon fruits will lift objects and exploding fruit...well, take a wild guess!
OK, The Undergarden is hardly the roughest, toughest game you'll ever see. It's soft and gentle and relaxing, and not very difficult at all. It is a good laugh though, and if you enjoy games that offer more than just fighting and shooting, it'll offer a chilled out few days of play before you finish it.
