You'll be protecting soldiers from advancing tanks, tangling with enemy pilots over the desert and even manning the cannons on a gunship to help an elite squad rescue a teammate. Tom Clancy is the guy behind such hit games as Splinter Cell, Ghost Recon and EndWar, so you know this will be packed with military muscle!
There are loads of real jet fighters in the game, each with their own unique selection of weapons. You'll need to be pretty skilled to master all of them - especially as the enemy pilots will do everything they can to avoid your missiles and send a few of theirs in your direction at the same time. It's not all bang crash action though - you'll also get to control UAVs - remote spy drones that hover in the air and spy on enemies!
Once you've finished the single player story missions, you can play them again in Arcade mode with harder settings, or go online and join up with three other pilots to play the game in co-op mode. Or if you just want to get down to some multiplayer action, there's plenty of chance to get into some competitive dogfights as well.

The game looks absolutely amazing. It uses real high definition satellite maps to create the gameworld, so whether you're flying over the moors of Scotland or Russian mountains, everything looks completely real. All the planes are carefully modelled on actual military jets as well!
The biggest problem with H.A.W.X. 2 is that it does get a bit repetitive, and the later missions have really tight time limits and loads of enemies to destroy. It can get frustrating, but it's so awesome to blast around the sky in a super cool fighter plane that you probably won't mind!
