You can't have a motion controller without a sports game, but Kinect Sports promises to be something special. For one thing, it's been developed by Rare, creators of Viva Pinata and Banjo-Kazooie, but more importantly the people who designed the Xbox Avatars. Expect to see your virtual Xbox self taking part in bowling, boxing, hurdles, javelin, long jump, ping pong, football and volleyball. And thanks to Kinect's ultra-precise body tracking, every single move you make will be recreated in the game. Run along with your arms in the air, and your avatar does exactly the same. If you're lucky, you can even lead the crowd in a Mexican wave!
