Clone Commanders can take control of groups of normal troopers. They'll then follow you around and fire at whatever you aim at. This is dead handy when you get rocket troopers, but even a squad of blaster troops packs enough firepower to overheat and explode special golden LEGO items.
There are loads more vehicles to try now, ranging from clone tanks and walkers, up to space fighters. Some levels mix things up as well, so you can go from flying in a space battle, then land on the ground and carry on a mission on foot. It's epic!
The look of the characters has been changed to suit the style of the cartoon, as well as the new LEGO Clone Wars toys. If you take a closer look at the screenshots, you'll also see that the game itself is looking better than any previous LEGO game. There are realistic flames and smoke, and some levels even take place in dark spooky caves, lit only by the glow of a lightsaber. Spooky!
Don't forget to explore the game hub. You'll discover loads of new characters walking around, and the more gold bricks you earn, the more areas of Anakin's cruiser, the Resolute, you're able to access. Head to the docking bay, unlock a spaceship and you can fly through space and start exploring the Separatist's ship as well. They have their own story levels and characters to unlock!
Jedi or not, here they come! No, this isn't a mind trick! The third instalment in the LEGO Star Wars series is here, and this time it's based on the hit TV cartoon show, Clone Wars!
Jedi characters can now use their lightsabers to cut through doors and walls, or lift Super Battle Droids into the air and use them to shoot targets. You're also able to use Force Push to clear some space - very handy when you realise that some levels have hundreds of enemies running around!
The massive land battles are now more involved than just roaring around in a vehicle shooting at everything! You can build bases by gathering studs then cashing them in to build giant cannons, barracks that spawn troops or special vehicles. Build them out of silver or gold LEGO to make them extra tough, and then hop into whatever vehicle you fancy and go and destroy the enemy buildings!
