If you enjoyed Lego Harry Potter and Lego Star Wars, then you'll love Lego Universe. It's a huge online game where you get to create your own minifigure and explore a whole universe of Lego fun!
The story behind the game involves a battle between the Lego minifigures and the evil Stromlings, creatures of pure chaos that pour out of the Maelstrom and try to destroy all imagination. But if you don't fancy going into battle or doing missions, you're free to wander around, meet friends and build stuff just for fun!
As you play, you'll earn lots of Lego money which can be spent at various shops and merchants around the different worlds in the game. You can buy new outfits, collections of bricks and special items that give you cool new abilities. The more you play, the more stuff you'll get!
Whatever you want to be, you can give it a try in Lego Universe. Want to be a ninja? Head for the Forbidden Valley, where only those who prove themselves worthy can become a shadow warrior! Maybe you'd like to be a pirate? Then visit the Gnarled Valley, where you can help free infected pirates from the Maelstrom! And every step of the way, it's up to you what your character looks like, and what powers they have.
There are loads of wicked things to do in Lego Universe. You can design and build your own Lego house, and even create wild Lego inventions to share with other players. You can train your own Lego pet, or come up with cool looking Lego cars and enter them in races! You can even jump on-stage at a Lego rock concert and play guitar!
When you sign up to fight against the Stromlings, you'll get to choose one of four factions within the heroic Nexus Force. Sentinels are brave warriors, skilled with swords. Assembly workers specialise in building and inventing new weapons and gadgets. Venture characters are daring explorers, sent to discover new lands, while Paradox allows you to play as a good guy character using Maelstrom powers!
You can chat with other players using the text window, but if you want to get the point across quickly, there are lots of quick actions you can do. You can give a friendly wave, have a tantrum or even learn new dance moves!
As Lego Universe is an online game world, like World of Warcraft, you'll need to pay a monthly subscription to stay in the game. At the moment, it's £7.49 per month to play. Time to pester a grown-up for their credit card!
