Choose Wisely!
Like all Pokémon games, there are three starter Pokémon to choose from! This time it’s Chikorita, Totodile and Cyndaquil. Check out their stats:
Chikorita
- Type: Grass
- Weakness: Fire
- Starter Moves: Tackle, Growl
- Evolutions: Bayleef (Level 16), Meganium (Level 32)
- Ability: When Chikorita has low health, Overgrow increases the power of Grass moves by 1.5!
- Mega Move: When it’s fully evolved, Body Slam and Solar Beam do huge damage!
Totodile
- Type: Water
- Weakness: Grass
- Starter Moves: Scratch, Leer
- Evolutions: Croconaw (Level 18), Feraligatr (Level 30)
- Ability: Torrent makes Water moves stronger when Totodile has less than a third of its health left!
- Mega Move: At Level 22, you learn Thrash. A powerful attack that lasts three turns, but leaves the Pokémon confused!
Cyndaquil
- Type: Fire
- Weakness: Water
- Starter Moves: Tackle, Leer
- Evolutions: Quilava (Level 14), Typhlosion (Level 36)
- Ability: Its Blaze ability makes Fire moves more effective when it’s low on health!
- Mega Move: You don’t get it until Level 49, but Eruption is one of the most powerful in the game!
