Spacetastic Secrets!
We’re still playing the awesome Ratchet And Clank: A Crack In Time on PS3, but we know exploring every nook and cranny of the galaxy can be hard work. So we thought we’d bring your guide to the top five weapons, and some of the coolest secrets!
Plasma Striker
If you can see some enemies in the distance and they haven’t spotted you yet, the Plasma Striker is a sneaky way to take them down early. This gun has three levels of zoom, which means you can blast away from a safe distance before moving in for the kill!
Chimp-O-Matic
It’s the hardest gun to get hold of, but if you complete the Overkill Challenge on the Raritanium Tournament, you get this fantastically funny weapon which turns enemies into harmless monkeys!
Rift Inducer 5000
The Rift Inducer 5000 looks tiny, but it’s our favourite weapon in the game. Pull the trigger, and you open up a portal to a deadly alien beast called Fred. He’ll pick up enemies with his tentacles and drag them to their doom!
Mega Museum!
The Insomniac Museum shows loads of cool ideas and items that didn’t make it into the final game. You need to collect all 40 Zoni and to beat the secret boss to unlock it, but you’ll be glad you did – it’s amazing!
Super Secret!
Collect all 40 Gold Bolts and you can play as Dr. Nefarious. Just change Ratchet’s outfit from the Skins menu!
Gigantic Guns!
With the Altered Arsenal cheat you can change the size of Ratchet’s weapons – make them tiny and you’ll hardly see them, but make them huge and they’ll be three times the size of Ratchet himself!
Ace Arcade!
In the Agorian Battleplex, there are rows of arcade machines, but there’s one that’s empty. Walk up to it and press triangle and you can play an awesome arcade game featuring Qwark!
A Fast Getaway!
Don’t forget to use your Hover Boots when you’re in a hurry. Press R2 and you can escape from enemies much quicker!
