First Look!!

Sack Attack!

LittleBigPlanet is one of the cutest, wackiest, most creative games on the PS3, so we're chuffed to bits that a sequel is on the way! Here's what we know so far!

LittleBigPlanet 2 comes with an all new story mode, and even better graphics, but that's not what has got us so excited. No, what makes this sequel extra-special super cool is the fact that you can now use it to make your own games. That's right - not just your own levels, but your own games. And you don't just have to make platform games - you can make racing games, shooting games, puzzle games. Whatever ideas you've got bouncing around in your brain, LBP2 will let you make them a reality! There's even a movie editor, so you can record your own story scenes! Lights...joypad...ACTION!

Ooh shiny!

Sackboy has some new toys and tools to play with this time around. Top of the list is a grapple gun, so you can swing and climb around the levels. Power Gloves are also new to the game, and something called a "magic bag". What does it mean? We don't know, but we're excited anyway!

It's alive!

You'll even be able to create your own characters, using the new Sackbots - wooden robot puppets that you can customise. They're smart too! You can give them artificial intelligence so they'll interact with people playing your game. Why not put yourself in the game?

Don't forget to recycle!

If you've poured your heart and soul into levels you designed for the first game, don't panic - those will still work with LittleBigPlanet 2, and they'll make use of the slinky new graphics to look better than ever. Wicked!

Top Trivia

LittleBigPlanet players have now made and uploaded over TWO MILLION home-made levels for the original game. We can't wait to see what people come up with next!
