Megaton magazine and Megaton.co.uk have been created to offer children a chance to learn more about their favourite videogames and play free games online. Children can enjoy almost all of the sites features without needing to register or creating a 'Bot'. They can choose to create their own robot avatar through the 'Got?' and 'Want!' links which will store their 'Got?' and 'Want!' lists, (a record of the games they own and the games they'd like to own). At no point will any personal or contact information be requested from them during this process. Children can then re-access their 'Bot' using the name generated by the site and a unique pin number.
While all the content on the Megaton.co.uk site is considered suitable for a younger audience, we encourage you to make your children aware of how to navigate the online space safely and protect their personal information when using the internet.
