CLONK! Hey, who threw that bloomin' great shield at my bonce? Oops. It's Captain America, and he's coming to consoles next year in a videogame based on his upcoming blockbuster movie!
The story for the game has been written by Marvel dude Christos Gage, who has previously written for comic books like Spider-Man, X-Men, Iron Man, The Avengers and - oh yeah - Captain America!
Captain America: The First Avenger is the name of the movie, set for release in the summer of 2011. It explains how Steve Rogers went from weedy nerd to muscle-bound super soldier, and leads directly into the Avengers movie, which brings Captain America, Iron Man, Thor and the Hulk together to form the ultimate superhero team!
Set during World War II, the game will follow the star-spangled avenger as he fights the evil HYDRA organisation, using his acrobatic combat skills and that famous flying shield.
