Unlike Hot Pursuit, the previous game in the Need for Speed series, SHIFT 2 Unleashed doesn't feature crazy car chases and car-wrecking gadgets. This is a much more serious racer, designed for true car lovers. Although SHIFT grew out of the Need for Speed games, it's now become a series all of its own.
The game features over 130 officially licensed cars and 100 tracks to race them on! Look out for real life locations like Bathurst and Suzuka, as well as full tournaments such as the GT1 World Championship and GT3 European Championship.

Also new to the series is realistic night racing, and a helmet view that puts you right behind the steering wheel for the most authentic driving experience possible!
