Review!!
You play as Sora, hero of the very first Kingdom Hearts game. Jiminy Cricket's computer record of that adventure has been mysteriously corrupted, so Sora enters the digital realm to find out what's gone wrong! You'll explore the worlds from different Disney flicks, helping familiar heroes and battling famous baddies using Sora's giant key!
As you play through the game, you'll visit worlds based on lots of Disney hits. Look out for Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland and Hercules along the way! It's not all exploration and action though! Some sections of the game are shooting stages where you zoom into the screen, while others levels use turn-based combat like the original Final Fantasy games!
You can develop Sora's skills in the Stat Matrix. Earn stat tiles through combat, then place them where you like in order to make Sora stronger, and give him more health or powers. It's up to you how you upgrade his skills!
Return to the world of Kingdom Hearts, where Disney smashes into Final Fantasy and all sorts of groovy stuff falls out! It's an epic role-playing cartoon mashup...but is it any good?
Black and red blocks represent the corruption in the data world. You can smash them up to help save the world, but sometimes it's worth seeing if you can use them to reach secret areas first!
Kingdom Hearts Re:coded is a massive game and if you love epic adventures and Disney movies then you'll love every second of it! Be warned though, the story is really complicated and if you haven't played the previous games you may struggle to follow what's going on!
